Israel: Tel Aviv
Date: Wednesday, January 25, 2012 - Sunday, January 29, 2012
London Southside Chamber of Commerce was delighted to organise and conduct a Trade Visit to Tel Aviv from 25 to 29 January 2012.
With a population of just over 6 million Israel has become a remarkable success story for British exporters and it is the UK's largest customer in the Middle East after Saudi Arabia. The Israeli economy functions like that of Western Europe; its GNP per capita exceeds that of many EU members; Company law is based on English law and Israelis are multi-lingual with English being widely spoken.
Tel Aviv is the business and financial capital and most foreign embassies and company head offices are based there, as well as half of Israel's industries.
We met with British Embassy officials and the local Chamber of Commerce. Individual business appointments where made and we had the opportunity to visit Jerusalem and see the major places of historical and touristic interest.
The price was £414 per person (in double or twin room). Supplement of £138 for a single room. It Included:
-Direct return flights London-Tel Aviv
-4 nights stay with breakfast in 4 star hotel in citycentre
-Business meetings and individual appointments as required
