Trade Visit to Serbia
Date: Wednesday, April 18, 2018 - Sunday, April 22, 2018
Serbia is situated at the crossroads of Central and Southeast Europe, bordering Hungary Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Croatia and Kosovo. It has a population of around 7 million and its capital, Belgrade, ranks among the oldest and largest cities in Europe. It has an emerging market economy with services representing 60.3% of GDP, followed by Industry with 31.8% and agriculture with 7.9%.
Our visit will focus on Belgrade, which is the financial centre of Serbia and Southeast Europe and which generates over 40% of Serbia's GDP. It is one of the key IT centres for this part of Europe. This is a fascinating, vibrant city with some attractive pedestrianised streets in the centre and walks along the riverbanks of the Danube and Sava. There is a lively artistic and cultural scene and the nightlife is legendary with great value coffee shops, bars and restaurants.
As always, this Trade Visit will enable you to learn more about the country, enjoy its culture and explore potential business opportunities. LSCC has excellent business and tourism related contacts with Serbia and, during the days we will spend there, you can choose on an individual basis the daily emphasis you wish to place on these.
