Every day we help people with learning disabilities get more out of life. Hft is a leading national charity, providing local support services for 3,000 people with learning disabilities, their families and carers throughout England. It does this by using its expertise, practical support and personalised technology to develop inventive and often ground breaking support which enables people with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.
As well as supported living, residential accommodation and domiciliary care, Hft also supports people in the following ways to make their lives better: Better by finding fulfilling work, Better by valuing friendships, Better by embracing the future, Better by recognising individual needs, Better by being at the heart of the community, Better by supporting families, Better by pushing for change. However, none of this would be possible without support from corporations that operate within the community in which we serve. Hft relies on voluntary income to ensure that positive changes are happening in people’s lives every day. Our vision is a world where people with learning disabilities are supported to live the life they choose as equal members of society. Hft working in partnership with the London Southside Chamber of Commerce: The engagement we receive from companies is absolutely crucial in helping us to continue to support people with learning disabilities. Our vision is to work in partnership with organisations, building multi-dimensional, solution-based relationships that provide mutual benefits for both parties. To this end, we are proud to say that we have joined forces with the London Southside Chamber of Commerce. We are pleased to say that the Chamber has selected us as their charity partner for three years. Beginning with a launch event in October we also will be organising a number of joint events and workshops. The Chamber hopes that you will support Hft and the work it does for members of our community.
