BUSINESS CLUB MEETING
Monday 9th July 2018, 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Morley College, 61 Westminster bridge Road, SE1 7HT
The term "Cloud Computing" is everywhere. In its simplest terms, Cloud Computing means storing and accessing data and programs over the Internet instead of your computer's hard drive. Many businesses are now opting to move their systems to the Cloud, allowing them to be more flexible and robust. At our Business Club meeting this evening we will explain and demonstrate:
- What the Cloud is
- What its benefits are
- How to set it up
- How to maintain it
We intend the session to be essentially hands-on and practical and, so as to tailor it to meet the needs and expectations of attendees, request that when booking you answer the following four questions:
- What is your email address
- Do you currently use the Cloud?
- Where do you store your files?
- What would you like to get from this session?
The session will be led by Claude Martin-Currie of Claude Computing. The company are members of LSCC and provide IT Support and Training services to small businesses to help them get the best out of their IT systems. They aim to make IT support an enjoyable experience through excellent customer service and care.
