interactive workshops and presentations that will provide practical
advice and add value to the knowledge/skills you already have on a
variety of business topics.
The three and a half hour master classes will run from 2pm to 5:30pm and are available to members and non-members at a cost of:
LSCC Members £35.00
The price includes all workshop materials, refreshments and a Certificate of Attendance. VAT is not chargeable.
To ensure that personal attention is given to participants, the maximum number of attendees per Master Class is 14, so spaces are limited to those who register first.
IMPORTANT: Please note that once booked, the fees are non refundable. However, you may transfer your place to someone else but please let us know so we can update the booking according to the membership status or use as a credit for a future Master Class event.

This Masterclass will be delivered by Sharon McLean, who is an accomplished business trainer, consultant, author, mentor, radio presenter, advisor and business owner. Sharon works with business start-ups and SMEs looking to expand as well as charities and social enterprises. In 2004 Sharon launched RAIN, the referral network to give businesses an opportunity to gain new customers.
Search Engine Optimisation
Is your Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) knowledge basically built around keywords, meta tags and phrases? If yes, then we highly recommend that you attend this Masterclass because Search Engines, such as Google, no longer rely on these factors alone to rank and index information. SEO is now more multi-dimensional and a greater understanding of its logic and how it now works will help you get increased traffic and visibility.
10 Steps to A Successful Social Media Strategy
Social media is one of the most powerful marketing tools available to businesses because it gives you the opportunity to create a strong personal connection with your prospective and existing customers. In recognition of this fact, organisations are eager to engage their public and often make the mistake of engaging social media without a clear idea of what is to be accomplished. At best, this scattergun approach wastes time and vital resources and at worst, it can bring negative PR and weaken your brand equity. To reap the positive benefits from social media, a clear strategy is needed.
When addressing a large public meeting, pitching for business, presenting results or an idea to colleagues, why do we find it so daunting? This interactive session will provide a safe and supportive atmosphere where we can try to dispel some of our fears around presenting.
